Research in the SEA Lab focuses on the biological, behavioral, and psychological experiences of sleep, eating, and psychological affect, in particular depression. Our overarching goal is to develop mind-body interventions that empower individuals to improve their health and well-being without drugs.
Dr. Mason also offers clinical services for individuals struggling with sleep. Dr. Mason is not currently accepting patients seeking treatment for other conditions. Please visit the Sleep Clinic Page to learn more about this clinical service.
Research within the SEA lab is funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the US Department of Defense (DOD), The Aoki Foundation, The Donner Foundation, and Tiny Foundation.
